Galaxy Fault Codes

Hi all,

Just joined the forum today and need your help.....

I've had probs with gearbox and the yellow engine light is currently on.

Over last 4 months had main oil seal replaced, and gearbox oil filter replaced.

 

I have now got a noise from gearbox (whistling noise at certain speeds) and when turning left.

I have had a number of specialist look at it and all come up with different stories..

 

Can anybody translate the following codes that have been read by a specialist:

 

P0700 Exhaust [MIL] fault transmission control malfunction

B2103 Immobilizer communication error

B101 Immobiliser key faulty

 

Ford Pertol EEC5 (OBD) Mode 3/7, read memory powertrain Mode 3, static error

*P0700 Transmission control system

Mode 7, sporadic errors

 

Any help would be most welcome.

long shot - the engine management light is often a symptom of the switch(s) on the brake pedal - a cheap possible solution would be to replace them(DIY- soe help on the forum) - this is sometimes accompanied with trouble with the brake lights (possibly intermittent)

 

and when turning left.

There have been issues with corrosion in the loom to the autobox, additionally if the box has been off the gearbox can stress the loom (if not properly supported) and cause control problems these may produce errors like this :(

have you taken out any fuse,s of late

 

or disconected any wire or plugs

cos i have had a few fault codes of late,and it was down to removal of fuse,s
